Joey was the King for a day

at the Anti Cruelty Society's fundraiser

ALL SHOOK UP
a new musical comedy at the Cadillac Palace Theatre
inspired by and featuring songs of Elvis Presley
at Encore in the pet friendly Hotel Allegro

Dogs were invited to compete dressed up in Elvis/50's attire.
In addition to appearing in 3 newspapers, Joey also was featured on 6 television stations.

This dog is dressed as a Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich
He won the prize at the party.


These two dogs both approached the contest with a pink poodle skirt but what a difference!



Missy prepared Joey's pompadour. She is her groomer.



Joey's outfit was made by her Mom, Kathy Schubert.



Joey stood so still for the whole party that people marvelled at her "staying" ability.
Actually, you put any clothing on her and she just won't move.

That's why I had to build her a Pink Cadillac in October so that she could 'parade' at the various Halloween contests.
